Mortgage Training Manager
Purpose of the Position/Job Summary
Priority Financial Network is a dynamic, fast-growing mortgage company. We’re searching for an innovative, collaborative, and motivated Training Manager who will have the opportunity to build a training program from the ground up. The Training Manager will be responsible for creating, developing, and administering training programs to meet specific business needs for new and existing employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead employee training for operations and sales
- Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts to develop training content for both in-person and eLearning training
- Work closely with managers to conduct a training needs analysis to develop new training programs and modify and improve existing programs.
- Maintain knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures, underwriting, and general departmental guidelines.
- Design, develop and deliver training sessions for new employees to succeed.
- Deliver practical training sessions, including new hire, follow up, and reinforcement training
- Support in the development and delivery of compliance and operational training throughout the year
- Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical and development training for employees
- Design and develop learning materials, including training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials for the training curriculum
- Provide in-person and remote training to employees on the Encompass system
- Design, develop and deliver training and staff development programs through synchronous and asynchronous learning, including formal classroom, eLearning, and remote training.
- Develop testing, evaluation, and measurement procedures of the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement
- Participate in administrative functions within the Training Department, including but not limited to scheduling, maintaining training documentation, handling attendance records, pulling reports, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5 years of training design and delivery experience
- 3 years of Mortgage industry experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of adult learning styles, principles, and needs assessment
- Knowledge of teaching and training principles, practices, and procedures, including individuals, groups, face-to-face, and distance learning
- Proven experience in delivering training, support, and coaching for end-users of packaged software programs
- Adept at getting and maintaining attention/involvement in classroom training as well as remote training
- Knowledge in Encompass360 or similar software desired
- Knowledge of building and delivering effective eLearning content
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Exercise good judgment and strong character, motivated, hard-working
- Ability to work well with fellow employees, clients, and vendors

Location - Calabasas
Salary Range - $90,000- $150,000 (Based on experience)
