The responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to :
- Demonstrates a keen understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and is able to apply them consistently to the position..
- Manages and oversees the work of the accounting staff.
- Manages the general ledger posting entries accurately to the appropriate account/cost center.
- Performs bank reconciliation monthly.
- Prepares financial statements monthly and upon request.
- Prepares financial cost reports for Medicare and Medicaid.
- Prepares reports for tax reporting.
- Prepare reports for financial audits.
- Follows established finance and accounting policies and procedures.
- Pays vendors. timely and accurately.
