Seeking a Professional Nanny in Marietta (Kennesaw area). This position is based on experience, knowledge, education, and a "willingness to help" attitude. Seeking someone long-term that’s a good fit for our family. This is a GREAT opportunity for the right person!

About our family:
My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been together for 17 years (married for 7). We live in a lovely neighborhood in Marietta near Kennesaw Mountain with our sweet baby girl (4 months old) and cuddly German Shepherd dog (6 years old). We love nature and spending time outdoors with our family that lives close by and are part of our extended care team. My husband and I are academically minded and care deeply about learning and new experiences for ourselves and our baby. Our community has great amenities nearby for fun activities for both nanny and baby has she grows – making for a very fun a fulfilling work environment.

Job Details:

Salary:

Competitive Gross hourly rate ($20-25) based on the candidate’s experience, education, and knowledge. Paid vacation, paid personal days, and insurance stipend.

Requirements:

· At least 5 years of professional nanny experience in private homes with infants and/or toddlers.

· The candidate must have at least three excellent professional references, three-character references, and a clear background.

· Candidate must provide flexibility in scheduling if needed

· Language: Fluent in English

· Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the US or US Citizen

· Pet friendly

Responsibilities:

· Creating a safe and stimulating environment

· Bathing and dressing

· Preparing milk/formula and baby food feedings

· Changing diapers (and potty-training, when age-appropriate)

· Educational activities, crafts, and reading

· Indoor and outdoor play

· Arranging playdates and outings

· Carpooling or driving to activities or playdates

· Administering medicine with parents’ consent (as necessary)

· Maintaining notes for the parents (sleep, feeding, or illness issues)

· Organizing bedrooms/toys

· Child’s laundry

· Light housekeeping (emptying the trash, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen and kid’s areas clean and tidy).
