What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse (receiving) position at Pro Staff?
Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse receiving department
- 3-5 years years experience with Stand-Up forklift, Order Picker, and Reach Truck (must have all 3)
- PVF experience is a plus
- Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with unloading inbound shipments and moving them to designated locations to be stocked
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
- Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
