Job Description

Support and maintain IT DLP (data-loss prevention) program goals through endpoint management strategies. Develop and implement standardized methodology to search for, identify, and remediate sensitive information on information systems. Support IT data encryption requirements and provide design and implementation compliance guidance to infrastructure support staff to meet IT system needs for data encryption at rest and in transit. Assist PPPO Safeguards and Security office in review and monitoring of classification guidance, to include word-search filtering. Assist with documentation and control reviews as needed to maintain Approval to Operate (ATO) accreditation under Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliant information systems.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years professional experience
• Monitor and perform internal IT periodic assessments of COMSEC equipment and procedures.
• Knowledge and experience of NIST data-encryption strategies and implementation, including data encryption at rest and in transit
• Experience with Information Technology tools to identify sensitive data at rest and in transit
• Support Information Systems forensic investigations and data-gathering per DOE Safeguards and Security guidance
• Support documentation and continuous monitoring efforts to maintain RMF ATO compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with IT Privacy Protection requirements and support
• Experience supporting classification guides and data-loss programs
• Experience supporting network equipment monitoring, vulnerability scans, and system audits across IT hardware on air-gapped computer networks

Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
