ETAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the "One PPPO" mission.

The parent company, Pro2Serve, is a nationally recognized environmental, technical, and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation's security. We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.

Job Description

Support oversight of the NM management systems, to assure the effectiveness of processing and accountability measures.

Analyzing Cylinder Records and drafting characterization report to include tracking of transfers.

Support oversight of programs to effectively manage and report on NM assets at the site.

Participate in periodic, termination and special surveys, assessing contractor NM accountability and material management programs.

Establish coordination, accomplishing critical examination and evaluation of contractor's performance, and providing appropriate documentation.

Support and provide oversight of the NM accountability and material management programs for the accountable nuclear materials possessed by the site.

Data analysis of large amounts of NM management and accountability information.

Assist the Nuclear Material Control & Accountability lead with the Nuclear Material Inventory Assessment (NMIA) prior to PPPO submission to the Office of Nuclear Material Integration (ONMI) as needed;

Assist NMC&A personnel to ensure development of the annual Nuclear Materials Customer Forecast and Nuclear Materials Management Plan in alignment with the NMIA as needed;

Detailed knowledge of Corrective Action Plans;

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years relevant experience or 15 years of related experience.

Additionally, this position requires a DOE-Q security clearance and specific experience and expertise in conducting oversight of contractors' programs established to maintain accountability and NM systems and procedures.

These programs are maintained in compliance with DOE Order, Manual, and Technical Standard requirements or NRC licenses, as applicable.

Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
