Our manufacturing company is looking for a dedicated and passionate 3D CAD Draftsman to join our team.
As a 3D CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for the drawing and assembly designs as per the given specifications of our company’s customers. You will also be responsible for following verbal instructions from the Sales Team and the Chief Engineer. Additionally, you will be responsible for storing and filing all models and drawings in the company database.
You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail. You should also have strong math skills and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
- Creating or adjusting previous CAD drawings of our product.
- Having design discussions with the Chief Engineer and Sales Team for incoming orders.
- Creating a design using appropriate AutoCAD software.
- Read and assess order information from specification sheets.
- Eventually be able to identify possible operational faults and provide solutions for them.
- Presenting and articulating designs to the Chief Engineer and being able to productively take feedback from them.
- Creating user manuals and updating other documents on time.
- Finalizing Solidworks models and AutoCAD drawings that will be used for manufacturing purposes.
- Adhering to company safety protocols.
- Organizing, storing, and filing the projects for future references.
Requirements
- Solidworks and/or AutoCAD experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related degree preferred but not required.
- A professional certification in Computer-Aided Design and American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) would be an added benefit.
- Good knowledge of engineering principles.
- Ability to work in both a solo and team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.83 - $21.63 per hour
