Cloud Security Operations Intro

The Cloud Security Operations team is seeking an intermediate-level professional to join our clients multi-disciplinary team. This role is pivotal in driving cybersecurity services and solutions, enabling secure adoption of Private, Hybrid, and Public Cloud platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising between various businesses/organizations and working specifically with Cloud security monitoring, logging tooling, and data analysis to produce high-quality, actionable metrics.


Cloud Security Operations Job Details

Responsibilities include creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for security controls, utilizing Security Information and Event Management systems (SIEMs) for control implementation, and managing metrics for security compliance across the Cloud ecosystem. The role involves collecting security-related operational metrics through automation, measuring the effectiveness of security tools, mitigating risks by analyzing root causes, and developing security solutions. Additionally, the candidate will manage security project workstreams using JIRA/Confluence, handle administrative tasks like budgeting and training, and provide Information Security advice. The role requires a commitment to safeguarding the company’s reputation and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies.


Cloud Security Operations Mandatory Skills

• 3 years' Data Analysis experience
• 1-2 years' hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong knowledge of operational security support tools and processes for Cloud ecosystems
• Foundational knowledge of Cloud security concepts/best practices in AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Knowledge of SIEM tooling (Splunk, ArcSight)
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Consistently clear and concise written and verbal communication

• IT Project management experience using JIRA and Confluence is highly preferred
