This is a local role in the P&E Invent Tomorrow organization. This role will be responsible for implementing tests in the baby A PRL and partnering with project teams to enable the experimentation needed to support project learning goals. We are looking for Individuals who are passionate about hands-on experimentation and basic science to support invent tomorrow initiatives. This individual should deliver a sustained level of technical insights derived from foundational excellence in R&D procedural work, along with some level of applications work. they performs the basic and critical experimental work of day-to-day applied research.
Job Qualifications
Job Qualification 1:
Prior experiences with assembled products equipment
The role involves significant hands on experimentation so having a familiarity with different unit ops and tests stands will help the candidate on board quickly. Tests often require equipment set up modifications or manipulations. Applicants should be comfortable and confident in mechanics and machinery.
Job Qualification 2
Strong process, mechanical, and material development skills.
This role involves partnering with different project teams to setup and complete tests on the PRL test stands. Understanding the objective behind the testing in combination with the PRL capability will help the candidate be a more engaged and effective partner, and optimize the testing process to ensure the right test is done at the right time at the right scale.
Job Qualification 3
Prior experience in manufacturing or lab environment.
Projects cycle through the PRL quickly, so having a background in lab or manufacturing practices will help the candidate implement the tests with excellence and ensure that all GMP and safe practices will be followed and that base condition of the test stands is maintained.

Safety: Applicant needs to understand and follow safe work practices for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment. .

Collaborative & Inclusive Work Style: Applicant must have the ability to work well with others and be capable of building trusting and collaborative relationships. Individual needs to be open-minded to new insights, approaches, and diverse work styles. The PRL serves projects and teams across IT, WT, and across different regions. Additionally the team flows to the work where needed so the ability to collaborate and building trusting relationships is key to how we do work.

Documentation and communication: Applicant must follow good engineering work processes and document learnings. Being able to detail and communicate such that others can reuse and build upon applicant’s work immediately and in the future is required.
