Accountant

Overview:

We are currently seeking an Accountantto join our team. Joining PNC is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and further your career with a growing and successful organization. This position is hybrid with two - three days per week in office.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
2. Document financial transactions by entering account information
3. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
4. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
5. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
6. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
7. Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
8. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
9. Secure financial information by completing data base backups
10. Maintain financial security by following internal controls
11. Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements

Desired Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
2. Minimum 0-2 years of Accounting experience strongly preferred
3. Excellent Excel skills required
4. Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
5. Proficient in the use of MS Office
6. Ability to strategize and solve problems
7. Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
