Production Manager

Our company manufacturers a full lineup of utility, car hauler, equipment, and flatbed bumper pull/gooseneck trailers. This location sells "Factory Direct" to the public with all sales handled on site. It is a relatively small location with 10-12 employees that make up our Welding, Painting, Decking/Wiring & Sales Departments. Selling "Factory Direct" decreases out-the-door prices tremendously without the need for surcharges and delivery fees. Not only is this our number one selling point, but also what sets us apart from other competitors.

The Production Manager is the top manufacturing position and will oversee every aspect of the operation.

The Production Manager is required to work M-F, 1st shift schedule and ½ days every other Saturday.

Responsibilities/ Requirements:

• Become knowledgeable of all products produced. Understand the production process, material usage & sales system.
• The General Manager will be personally involved in Purchasing (Steel, Axles, trailer components), Payroll, HR, Production.
• Required to work every other Saturday (8am-12pm) and help in Sales.
• Must have leadership skills & the ability to multi-task.
• Must be proficient on the computer: The ability to learn new systems which include an ERP System, and our own company software is imperative. Must also be skillful in Microsoft office with the ability to create and utilize spreadsheets.
