Engineer
Waterloo, Iowa - Full Time
Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Waterloo, Iowa. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, perform product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of moderate scope or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project. Operate in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel. Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Ensure the development and execution of engine dyno test and post-test PV&V activities that include the entire aftertreatment system.
- Ensure the development and execution of small-scale component level PV&V activities related to canning, DEF header, DEF tank, and hydrocarbon dosing systems. Continuous improvement work is in scope.
- Ensure the development and execution of vehicle PV&V activities related to the entire aftertreatment system.
Requirements:
- S. Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to write detailed procedures.
- Ability to finish what you begin. Persistence.
- Ability to overcome setbacks.
- Microsoft office experience including Excel. PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with working on engines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Preferred Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of engineering experience.
- Experience working with engines.
- Experience reading engineering part prints.
- Knowledge of machine shop processes.
- Pro-E or Creo experience.
