Physican / Medical Director - Full Time - Rochester, NY - Correctional Health Care

Correctional health care is the perfect hybrid of outpatient & inpatient Psychiatry; serving an often underserved and extremely diverse patient population, and provides unrivaled scheduling flexibility!

We are looking for a Full Time Physician / Medical Director to provide on-site medical care service at the Monroe County Jail in Rochester, NY.

This position is 40 hours of on-site care per week, Monday - Friday during normal business hours.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine, specialty training preferred in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Correctional Medicine, and/or Urgent Care.
• Licensed to practice Medicine in the state of New York.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Maintain current DEA number and eligible to prescribe medications in Pennsylvania.
• Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification.
• Maintain current Driver’s License.
