JOB SUMMARY:
The Case Aide supports Waukesha County social workers to ensure the safety and well-being of identified children in Waukesha County. Case Aides provide supervised visitation and transportation services, and conduct home visits.

SALARY: $19.00 an hour
OFFICE LOCATION AND HOURS: Office is located in Waukesha, WI. Hybrid schedule allowing work form home two days per week. Position spends most time working out in the community meeting in-person with clients, with some time spent either at the office or remote completing documentation and paperwork. Flexible 40-hour work week. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday between 6:00am-9:00pm working 8 hour days. Occasional evenings and weekends may be needed to accommodate the needs of clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate and review desired behavior changes with family
- Conduct safe visitations with family members
- Intervene, when necessary, to promote productive interactions between family members
- Evaluate youth and families for treatment needs and refer to appropriate resources.
- Provide parent mentoring services
- Assist families in goal setting, planning and home management tasks
- Safely transport clients as needed
- After training is complete, staff are added to on-call duties to monitor after-hours calls.
- Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other related field
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with at-risk youth and families is preferred.
