Responsibilities: The primary role of the Quality Control Technician is to ensure consistent food safety and product quality.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Must follow all company safety procedures.
- Must maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Must adhere to all company quality policies (SQF).
- Properly document all verification checks.
- Using company Standard Operating Procedures, measure and document key parameters critical to product quality.
- Take corrective actions when the product is out of specification, including placing the product on hold, if necessary.
- Responsible for monitoring critical control points (CCPs).
- Perform pre-operational swabs.
- Support sanitation team.
- Provide samples on a scheduled basis to the Quality Assurance Laboratory for testing of the finished product.
- Responsible for verifying correct ingredients are used during batching process.
- Responsible for verifying lot #s used during batching process.
- Responsible for verifying the correct quantities of each ingredient are used and recorded correctly.
- Responsible for monitoring food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Train new team members and mentor current team members.
- Recommend improvements to SOPs to enhance safety, quality and production.
- Report abnormal conditions to Operations and Quality Management.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.98 - $25.30 per hour
