Cloud Platform Engineer TS/SCI
Springfield, VA (Hybrid)
MUST:
5 years as a cloud engineer
3 years experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
3 years experience with Amazon Web Services
Ability to perform Python, Shell scripting, Git is desired
Knowledgable of CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps preferred
Experience with Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem desired
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
Current DoD IAT II Level certification or the ability to successfully obtain one within 90 days of hire
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline or technical training
DUTIES:
Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired)
Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS
