Job Posting for IT Group Manager- Enterprise Support Solutions at Progressive Insurance
As the IT group manager, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of four IT Managers, one Technical Operations Owner (TOO), and a staff of 65 system engineers. In this IT group manager role, you’ll play a key role in partnering closely with the ETS (Enterprise Technology Solutions) direct report groups on the development and delivery of enterprise technology strategies. The Experience Operations organization provides critical Tier 2 support and services to 50,000 Progressive employees by supporting end-user compute and collaboration technologies. Must have qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Business Management) and a minimum four years of work experience managing IT professionals or IT project delivery - In lieu of a degree, a minimum six years of work experience managing IT professional or IT project delivery Preferred skills - Senior management level IT Group Manager leadership experience or highly qualified individual that has demonstrated success leading large scale teams with broad complexity organizations initiatives - Strong people orientation and talent development experience with a proven ability to create an engaging environment where people are empowered and thriving - Ability to anticipate, understand, and react to customer needs with collaborative partnerships across ETS (Enterprise Technology Solutions), IT and business boundaries that ensure alignment of outcomes and approaches - Fosters an organizational culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration - Proven grounding in data driven improvements that allow organizational learning and continuous improvement via lean leadership and agile practices Compensation - Salary range: $115,600 - $165,200/year - Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance - Participation in our restricted stock unit plan Benefits - 401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6% - Medical, dental & vision, including free preventative care - Wellness & mental health programs - Health care flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, & life insurance - Paid time off - Paid & unpaid sick leave where applicable, as well as short & long-term disability - Parental & family leave; military leave & pay - Diverse, inclusive & welcoming culture with Employee Resource Groups - Career development & tuition assistance Equal Opportunity Employer #LI-Remote
