Job Description

WE ARE: A team of Dispute Specialist experts playing a critical role in protection of the financial interests of Progressive Leasing by researching, analyzing, and responding to disputes to recover funds. YOU ARE:  A motivated Dispute Specialist that is detail oriented with strong critical thinking and communication skills, enjoys researching, experience with analyzing issues and providing appropriate support in response to disputed transactions. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION          

  • Review payment dispute information, lease agreements and payment records and submit the proper documentation to our payment processor according to the dispute reason
  • Validate appropriate data from internal and third-party systems and ensure appropriate course of action is being pursued
  • Run chargeback reports from our payment processors, match the data to our internal systems and ensure the chargebacks are recorded properly to our customers’ accounts daily
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure responses are submitted and transactions are processed both timely and accurately
  • Learn and maintain understanding of proper dispute process and best practices 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively to internal stakeholders
  • Highly detail oriented and results driven
  • Strong computer skills required, with a proficiency in MS Office and 10-key
  • Ability to analyze information, think through difficult problems and make critical decisions based on limited information
