Testing Assistant – ProgressiveHealth, LLC – Princeton, IN
We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Testing Assistant to support our industrial division with pre-hire medical and physical testing onsite for a large automotive manufacturing facility. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!
What will you be doing in this role?
- Assisting with functional physical placement testing, including weightlifting and cardiovascular assessments
- Scheduling candidate appointments, making follow-up phone calls, handling medical releases, and other phone communications
- Interviewing candidates, measuring vital signs, and recording data in the candidate’s chart
- Assisting with inventory processes, ordering medical supplies, and maintaining equipment cleaning/sterilization procedures
- Performing medical screenings such as urinalyses, breathing and hearing tests, and using other diagnostic equipment
- Accurately documenting candidate data into the proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) system and assisting with documentation organization
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Our ideal candidate will have:
- A background in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Health & Wellness, Pre-employment testing, Functional Medical Testing, Medical Assisting, or another related field
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
