Schedule Details: This is an exempt position. Hours are Monday - Friday, 1st shift. There may be a need to work above a normal 8 hour day to meet expected timelines for projects and other requirement


What You Will Do:

The equipment planner will be responsible for planning all equipment needed to support the construction project team for ProHealth Care. Develops and manages healthcare equipment scope, schedule and budget. Working within ProHealth Care purchasing department will drive the procurement process and standards. Will work closely with multiple internal and external customers as part of construction projects. Develops and administers equipment planning database.


Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Planning and management of construction and capital purchases
  • Develops and maintains medical equipment standards based on ProHealth Care system needs, preferences and GPO contracts
  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of all planned equipment and products. Develops alternative product comparisons as required
  • Source technical specifications and serve as an intermediary with the vendors to facilitate information and requests
  • Builds and manages equipment selection, procurement and installation logistic schedules to meet targeted occupancy within equipment planning application

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experienced equipment planning for construction project needed.
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience; 8 years’ experience preferred.
  • Must have strong word processing, spreadsheet and/or database software skills.
