Varsity Pins Cashier/Food Prep Team Member
Responsibilities
Team Work
- Shift between multiple stations (Cashier, Food Preparation, Delivery to Guests).
- Taking orders from Guests
- Building tacos, adding items to plates,
- Preparing guest-specific orders.
- Delivering complete orders to Guests
- Works closely with the food prep team to keep items fresh and ready to serve.
- Prepare and serve the tastiest food and snacks, in a clean environment, without long delays, and never sacrifice quality service.
Operate Varsity Pins Point of Sale
- Always wear a smile on your face; we want the guest to know that we LOVE what we do and take PRIDE in doing it.
- Meet the guest's requests for food with maximum quality, accuracy, and minimum waiting time.
- Inform and guide guests to food choices that will meet their expectations.
- Offer additional menu items that will elevate the guest dining experience.
- Use a register to record all sales and balance the cash drawer with receipts at the end of each shift.
- SAY IT WITH A SMILE!!!!
Operates by the Tennessee Department of Health Standards
- Ensures proper rotation of all products and stocks products to par. Labels, day dots, and signs for all products.
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action that may be taken.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner by established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position
Maintains Daily Sanitation Standards
- Completes FOH opening checklist for stocking and set up of the station.
- Completes FOH closing checklist breaks down, and thoroughly cleans FOH, Taco Truck and the surrounding area
- Operates and maintains equipment properly.
- Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift.

- Basic Knowledge of Food Preparation
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.
