What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Assistant Manager position at Project Canary?
Responsibilities
- Support Project Canary’s PR
- Manage events and partnerships
- Optimize the brand’s presence and performance on owned platforms
- Be the ‘go to’ for all digital activation
- Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholder to craft marketing campaigns and track performance
- Coordinate the development, maintenance, and evolution of the company’s website, reputation sites, email, and CRM
- Manage the look, flow, content, and performance requirements
- Manage brand communications across digital channels
- Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice across social platforms and paid placements (search, social, web, landing pages, SEM) that support the company’s strategic marketing objectives
- Stay current on the evolving energy space, including best practices, technologies and trending topics/approaches
- Monitor BD/Sales, Customer Success feedback and alignment
- Track performance of digital campaigns and social media effectiveness, evaluate success, and identify tactics that positively impact KPIs
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: College degree and/or equivalent experience, resulting in working knowledge of social and digital media to build brand awareness and sales. Bonus points for startup, scale-up and/or marketing agency experience.
- Mathematics and Analytical Skills: Able to perform basic math and provide analysis of social media and digital marketing programs using Excel or online platforms.
- Critical Thinking Skills: Able to identify the root cause of problems, consider viable tactics, think through potential consequences, and implement corrective action plans. Able to apply common sense to a wide variety of marketing and people problems, resulting in increased effectiveness.
- Conflict Resolution: Able to resolve minor conflicts and foster effective communication between various offices, people, customers.
- Computer Skills: Possesses strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, LinkedIn and Google AdWords
