We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with a strong emphasis on computer and clerical proficiency.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for general clerical duties such as greeting and directing all visitors, including vendors, clients, and job candidates, phone coverage, data entry, hiring paperwork processing, inventory, handling unemployment claims and learning the daily schedule for our flagging division which includes daily customer contact and employee confirmation calls. Scheduling which will be one weekend a month of on-call phone coverage (additional stipend paid) and generally three weeks of additional coverage throughout the year.
Since this position entails dealing with the public, whether face-to-face or over the phone, communication and customer service skills are also important. The ideal candidate will be comfortable answering phones, speaking with customers and employees, typing, and using internal scheduling software.
The Administrative Assistant position is a Monday through Friday year-round position from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position will be in an office setting, often sitting at a desk for most of the day.
