Description

The Marketing Website Developer is responsible for developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and optimizing PLTW’s .org website and its properties. This position partners with the Creative Services team in the design process, delivering quality brand experiences for customers and prospects, with the ultimate goals of driving traffic and converting visitors to leads.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the overall appearance and function of the PLTW .org website and it’s properties. 
  • Audit and repair issues as reported by marketing stakeholders. Serve as primary point of contact for all website troubleshooting and support issues; coordinate with partner agency to escalate and manage tickets.
  • Research, design, and implement new features. This includes developing responsive page templates for marketing websites that perform across all browsers. In addition to building, deploying, and maintaining web pages/digital interfaces/applications. 
  • Ideate new features and identify application of new technology to support marketing department priorities. Continuously evaluate website design, performance, and functionality (including overall architecture), and make thoughtful recommendations for improvements.
  • Development of processes and adherence to code standards that allow for scalable growth and development of the PLTW website and its properties.
  • Coordinates with team members to ensure active promotions and campaigns are accurately represented on the website and appropriately connected to the martech stack.
  • Maintains current knowledge of trends, best practices, and identifies and recommends potential opportunities for the organization to incorporate innovative methods and emerging trends. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE

  • Associate’s degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study, or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Experience with HubSpot CMS required (including HubSpot API, CRM, and COS/CMS). 
  • Ability to build websites, custom apps, and make API integrations between internal and third-party systems.
  • Proficient with programming languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.) and web design.
  • Understanding of digital marketing processes.
