Operations Project Coordinator
Description
We're looking for an extremely organized and results-oriented candidate that will be responsible for providing direct tactical and executional operational project coordination support to the Optics and Display Research Team.
DUTIES
- Coordinating and tracking purchases and invoices for project-specific tasks
- Managing and shipping requests, coordinating space and tool requests
- Managing the discussion and negotiation of new agreements such as NDAs between the third party and the research teams
- Assisting and following through with onboarding process of external vendors
- Point of contact for project resources and communication with team members, management and stakeholders as needed. Creating and maintaining project documentation, plans and reports.
- Creating/improving operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce overhead
SKILLS
- Coordinate tactical business discussions of logistical, legal, and financial nature.
- Work independently and efficiently on multiple tasks.
- Meet deadlines in a strong service-oriented environment with changing priorities and frequent interruptions.
- Strong communication and coordination skills
REQUIREMENTS
- 4 years of project coordination or similar experience on large-scale complex projects.
- Has a proven track record of planning/buying/production planning
- Proficiency with project management tools to manage tasks, monitor and track project progress, and identify any issues that arise
- Must be familiar with MS Office and gSuite tools
NICE TO HAVES
- Has experience working within Consumer Electronics or retail distribution environment industry (has worked in a space that deals with customers)
- Experience managing global project coordination logistics
- Experience with laboratory safety and operations
- Experience with project management programs such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or Asana
EDUCATION
Bachelors or Associates Degree
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
