Job Description:

Statco-DSI has an immediate opening for an experienced CAD Designer who will perform 2D and 3D drafting designs in support for engineers, project managers, and field designers within the company.

The primary responsibility of this position is to draw Flowcharts, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) from Preliminary to As-Built and coordinating with engineers upon completion which drawings get sent to customers, and create or modify plant layout options. Develop 3D drawings of equipment from STP files and 2D drawings to create layouts, piping systems, and complex skid designs based on P&ID drawings. Plot and manage CAD files and electronic file backups per company standards.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read architectural blueprints, understanding of control routing, familiar with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing standards
• Two-year technical degree or college equivalent, or four years of technical work experience
• Experience with Autocad 2D and 3D or similar software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Self-sufficient and able to work as a team member in a clean environment with high safety standards
• Excellent oral and verbal communication skills, must be able to listen and communicate information and ideas clearly so others understand
• Ability to travel on a limited basis to customer sites for evaluation work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
