Statco-DSI is looking for an Inside Sales Associate responsible for communicating with customers relating to requests for orders, quotations, and lead times. This position will build quotations on standard products, write orders and communicate pertinent information to customers.

- Understanding customer needs and standard requirements.
- Maintenance of records of who has been contacted and the outcome.
- Building valued relationships with existing and future customers.
- Be able to actively participate and facilitate in-house and online demos.
- Prepare quotations based on direction from customers, outside sales, or engineer's requests.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Effectively managing cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicating changes with appropriate personnel
- Managing orders and order status to ensure delivery commitment has been met.
- Shipping stock items out for orders and receiving parts in for inventory.
- Staying up to date on all product features and educating existing and future customers about product features

Base Salary Range: $43,680.0 - $74,880.00

- At least three years of experience in a customer facing role in a non-retail setting.
- At least 2 years data entry experience.
- Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel and Outlook).
- Creative and effective problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask between researching inventory, communicating with customers and internal teams.
- Must have good time-management and organizational skills.
