Job Overview:
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facility. You will manage a team of warehouse workers and ensure that all processes and procedures are followed to maintain an efficient and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies
- Manage materials handling, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods
- Knowledge of standard shipping process from UPS and FedEx.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, such as inventory counts and shipment logs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) software to track inventory and monitor workflow
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed
