Role Overview:

Promise is seeking a driven and strategic individual who will play a critical role in our company's success by growing relationships with our customers and ensuring successful recovery of outstanding payments. You will measure success by the success of our payment plan programs.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of government agencies and their constituents. You will design and implement a strategy to maximize payment plan enrollment and performance. You will work closely with our product and operations teams to coordinate messaging campaigns and interventions to ensure payment plan success.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as a strong business acumen. You must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and you should have experience in developing and implementing financial programs built for low-income individuals.

What You’ll Do:

• Be responsible for the success of Promise payment plan programs.
• Work with governments to understand their revenue recovery goals and develop plans for achieving those goals.
• Work with both internal and external stakeholders to understand the affordability needs of government constituents.
• Design and implement programs that ensure both financial success and dignity for constituents.
• Take a data-driven approach to understanding government debt, repayment, and what contributes to payment plan success.
• Build the playbook for Promise payment plan implementation, ensuring future programs are built for success.
• Leverage Promise’s existing product for payment plan enrollment and success while driving experimentation around approaches.
• Coordinate across Promise’s government partners and Promise to ensure payment plan success is aligned with business goals.
• Ensure both governments and constituents have positive relationships with Promise.
• Provide active feedback to the product and executive teams.

• Are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, including an ability to translate learnings into content for slide or written presentations.
