Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and talented graphic designer to join our team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and bringing engaging, on-brand graphics to market using a variety of media. You will be an integral part of the team in supporting Retail, Merchandising, eCommerce, and Marketing goals. This person understands that good design is both engaging and functional. They are a strong communicator, an eager collaborator, and a natural problem-solver. This position has the option to be a blended schedule of both remote and on-site work.
Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability take a concept and execute that vision based on specific requirements
Work with project managers, copywriting partners and other creative contributors to ensure delivery of assets are on-brief and timely
Contribute to visual design for the brand through ideation and asset creation. Understand how to test and create graphics across various media
Understanding of visual design principles and best practices
Brainstorm and suggest ideas for new content and design solutions across all our channels
Assists the Creative Director in establishing graphics that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfill the project objectives
Must be able to work quickly under pressure, stay organized, manage multiple deadlines, be accurate and be attentive to details
Skills
Highly proficient in standard design applications, specifically: Illustrator and Photoshop (Lightroom and InDesign is a plus). Any other software is a huge plus: Figma, Klaviyo, etc.
Experience with and knowledge of print design is a HUGE PLUS. Must understand key differences between digital and print design.
Proven graphic and/or print design experience
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of Brand Guidelines and how to adhere to them
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment
The best candidate for this position enjoys taking initiative, isn’t afraid to ask questions, will communicate the need for resources and support, and relishes in divergent thinking.
Please provide a portfolio of your skillset and past projects. A college degree is preferred but not required. We will not take applications that do not include some sort of visual design portfolio.
