This individual must be organized, responsible, take pride in their work, and have a professional demeanor. Must be able to multitask, think critically, and have exceptional attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in creating, editing, and preparing affidavits of service and nonservice. Certain affidavits will also be generated for electronic filing. The candidate will need to enter the required information into various e-filing portals. The position requires gathering information from scanned documents and properly entering the same information to align with the court system.
This role involves performing a detailed review and editing of service of process affidavits from Central Region states for accuracy, completeness, and spelling and grammar in a very timely manner.

- Review previously prepared legal documents for accuracy
- Ensure documents are in compliance with state and federal rules and guidelines for electronic filing
- Strive for the highest overall quality and accuracy in their work product
- Maintain a high level of detail-oriented work
- 1 years experience working in law firms or the legal support field
- 1 years of hands-on experience working with and generating legal affidavits
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and demonstrated understanding of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Knowledge of legal formats, procedures, and terminology
- Knowledge of electronic filing requirements in State and Federal Courts
- Ability to multitask and work with a high volume is essential in this position
- Industry experience in attorney service or legal support services is preferred
- An understanding of legal affidavits and documents is preferred
- Experience writing and editing legal briefs, legal documents, and affidavits is preferred
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Paralegal certificate is preferred
- $21 - $23 per hour, plus overtime based on experience and location
- Eligible to participate in company bonus plan
