We are seeking talented and experienced Minibar Attendant to join our amazing team. You will be responsible all items are plentiful, professionally presented and effectively billed to each guestroom. The Minibar Attendant must follow strict guidelines and safety standards set forth by the hotel with one goal in mind, “Guest”
Duties to include, but not limited to;
Job Description
- Ensure daily checklist is completed according to hotel standards and report any incomplete task before the end of shift to your supervisor
- Ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement
- Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Guiding Principles as part of ensuring Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
- Accurately replenish items in each guestroom and complete appropriate billing of guests
- Ensure minibar refrigerator is clean and in working order; request work orders/repairs timely
- Maintain storage room and carts organized
- Utilize portable POS system for accurate charges to guests folio
- Keep Private Bars clean at all times
- Must respect Do Not Disturb light, and when lit a Private Bar card must be placed under the door
- Replenish products with fresh items and make sure labels are facing guests, bottles are sealed and expiration dates are checked and items are placed it the right location
- Print different reports (C/I, C/O, INH) reports for daily usage of operations
- Prepare a monthly inventory of certain items
- Have designated communication device at all times for immediate assistance of guest's request
- Generate food and beverage requisition orders based on par stock
- Provide extraordinary service at all time to all of our guests
- Assist Guest courteously and efficiently, providing service for any guest's request
- Good knowledge of food and beverage in order to assist guests with suggestions and up sell our product.
- Do all the side works and preparations of the equipment for the continuation of the operation
- Attend all food and beverage training classes
- At the end of the shift deliver all checks and report to the appropriate place according to rules
- Setting and maintaining the Mini Bar environment and material perfectly clean as per side work description.
- Following the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet
- Attend monthly department meeting
- Always carry a master key, bottle opener and door stopper
- Generate a good atmosphere Knowledgeable and actively practices the hotels' emergency procedures and lost and found guidelines
- Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management, e.g., daily focus projects
- Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par. Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered
Requirements
- Local candidates only
- U.S. Citizenship/Work Authorization required
- 3-4 years minimum experience in a luxury-high end enviornment
- Be able to lift, pull and push 50 pounds without restrictions
- Be able to speak, write and understand the primary language of the workplace
- Excellent organization skills
- Capable of working with little or no supervision and still maintain immaculate standards
- Standing, walking, kneeling, stretching, lifting and bending throughout completion of duties
- Ability to use tools and equipment in designated manner
