The ideal individual should have an excellent ability to solve problems using their in-depth understanding of network technologies and infrastructure. The top candidate will also be a strong team player, communicator, and collaborator. The IT Specialists provide direct support to users of all levels, across the practice, ensuring technology resources run smoothly for day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to co-workers with workstation maintenance and problem resolution, through helpdesk, telephone requests, email requests, and walk-ups.
- Conduct IT orientation for new employees.
- User account creation\management for company systems.
- Ensuring the network operates securely.
- Collaborating with members of the IT team and management to determine company needs and coordinate the development and maintenance of network infrastructures.
- Works with all related software vendors, hardware vendors, ISP vendors, and IT departments to support: project implementation, plan maintenance, plan upgrades, implement changes, customize processes, troubleshoot issues.
- Performing necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed.
- Installing network hardware components, cables, and switches.
- Ensuring secure and stable server connectivity and testing network protocols.
- Creating internet domains and optimizing intranet performance.
- Testing data exchange and communication between computers, routers, modems, and servers.
- Installing, updating, and configuring end-user networking accessories.
- Monitoring server capacity and performance to keep up with demand in online traffic.
- Running diagnostic tests and performing repairs, as well as developing backup, archiving, and data retrieval procedures.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the network.
- Preparing user manuals and providing remote or onsite technical support.
- Enhancing network security, as well as documenting network processes and cabling layouts.
- Keeping informed of developments in network technologies and infrastructure.
- Configuring network software.
- Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency.
Requirements:
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- 5 years IT support experience.
- Experience in the healthcare field is a plus!
- Valid Driver's License.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
