DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve existing accounts by analyzing and performing on work orders; gather components, parts, and tools to complete installation.
  • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Install ducts and insulation.
  • Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.
  • Pre-measure jobs to identify proper materials required for install.
  • Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job.
  • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain rapport with customers, communicate details of work being performed and educate on use of new system/s.
  • Document service and installation by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Complete all tasks in accordance with our company’s quality and safety standards.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Meet quality metrics and maintain an advanced installation skill set in duct work, advanced and complicated installations, and client satisfaction.
  • Required to train Install Apprentices through the HVAC installation process.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrate a strong customer service skill.
  • Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image.
  • Ability to focus on quality and results driven in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
  • Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business.
  • Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions.
  • Proficiency with mobile devices including tablets and smart phones.

GROOMING:

  • Once hired, all employees must maintain a well-groomed appearance - a business-like haircut, clean-shaven (no beards or mustaches), no visible tattoos (i.e., hands, fingers, face, neck, and ears)

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
  • Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
  • Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
  • Moderate exposure to physical risk
  • Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
