What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Services Sales Officer (Full Time) - Sundance Square position at PROSPERITY BANK?
The Treasury Services Sales Officer is an assertive, sales focused individual whose emphasis is the acquisition of deposits and operating business through cultivating prospects into new client relationships and generating new business from existing clients. The TSSO works closely with the Commercial Bankers and Banking Centers to deliver Prosperity’s suite of Treasury Services solutions to clients and prospects and manage the TS relationships within an assigned portfolio. The individual can distill complex relationships in order to position Prosperity as the preferred Treasury Services provider calling across a company’s organization to engage stakeholders understanding their needs, issues, and desires to drive value from the company’s working capital.
The TSSO develops and executes strategic sales plans in coordination with other Treasury Services colleagues and the appropriate coverage teams. The individual actively maintains a thorough understanding of a client’s industry, organizational and operating structure, strategies and objectives, and buying behavior. The individual understands our competition’s capabilities and gaps and how to position Prosperity’s solutions against them. The TSSO maintains active calling and networking efforts to generate Treasury Services opportunities and cross-sell opportunities across Prosperity lines of business.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Partners across the Prosperity organization to target and build opportunities for Treasury Services solutions and depository business
- Forms teams to solve complex client needs and issues
- Influences and enriches the sales process through industry trend analysis, product innovation, and consultative relationship reviews
- Executes strategic market-based sales plans to target prospects and existing customers
- Achieves annual performance metrics for new business sales, call efforts, revenue growth, client retention, and profitability
- Grows non-interest income and deposit interest income
- Manages and maintains an accurate, timely sales pipeline
- Represents Prosperity Bank and Treasury Services in internal and external settings
- Contributes to the product development process with market-based knowledge, client/prospect feedback, and a balanced, business-based approach
- Performs all other tasks as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
- A minimum of 5-7 years of Treasury Services or Sales experience
- Strong working relationships with clients/prospects and colleagues with an ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions
- Ability to work independently and have strong acumen for business and relationship development
- Ability to generate ideas to identify and drive the development of new business
- Excellent selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong industry/market expertise
- Strong time management, organizational. and planning skills
- Strategic thinking skills
- Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
- Strong working relationship with and ability to direct the Treasury Services Sales Analyst supporting the position
- Ability to use various PC and internet-based systems including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for the role
- Strong cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Knowledge and understanding of bank’s Treasury Services solutions
- Knowledge of credit and operational risk – ability to quantify potential exposure and advise team
- Ability to analyze a client’s/prospect’s working capital and cash conversion cycle and articulate the value of Prosperity’s Treasury Services solutions
- Ability to create proformas and understand formulas involved in analysis
- Ability to read financial statements
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
40 hours per week.
