This is an entry-level position however the ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience and basic laboratory skills. Hours are Monday through Friday 3pm-11pm. Training will take place on 1st shift for one month. 1st shift hours are 7am-3pm. Pay starts at $17.00 an hour including the shift differential for 2nd shift.
The objective of this position is to support the Lab Manager with metallographic laboratory preparation and analysis. You will operate equipment for cutting, mounting, embedding, and polishing the metallographic samples.
This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
