Service Center PT-ADAS South Georgia Job Summary As a Protech Apprentice Technicians you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs under the supervision of an experienced technician. You will gain confidence as an automotive mobile technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Performing repairs to vehicles by following OE specifications and repair standards. Role and Responsibilities Customer service focused, ability to develop relationships and deliver operational consistency Willingness to learn and multi-task in a fast- paced automotive environment Complete assigned training and certifications, to include continuing education courses Learn how to perform basic diagnostic, mechanical, programming and ADAS calibrations Gain administrative understanding in estimating, invoicing, part cost, pre and post quality control checklists Assist mentor technicians in day-to-day job duties Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity Maintain a well-organized work area Test drive vehicles after repair and/or ADAS calibrations Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision Accountable for assigned inventory (including laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, other equipment provided) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications, Education & Experience: Desire to learn a skilled trade High school diploma or tech school graduate Automotive repair experience preferred but not required Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles Extensive travel within assigned area is expected May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals Ability to work in a shop or mobile environment during inclement weather Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves About Caliber Founded in 1997, the Caliber portfolio of brands has grown to more than 1,600 centers nationwide and features a full range of complementary automotive services, including Caliber Collision, one of the nation's largest auto collision repair providers across more than 40 states, Caliber Auto Care for mechanical repair and quick oil change services and Caliber Auto Glass for glass repair and replacement.
