What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Examiner (Hybrid) position at Protective?

Branch Examiners travel on a regular basis to conduct physical inspections of Concourse Financial Group Securities (CFGS) branch offices and non-branch locations throughout the country. Prior to the audit, they prepare by reviewing various reports to identify potential issues that will need to be discussed with the representative and corrected. While onsite, they evaluate the office space, signage, files, and registered representatives’ procedures to determine whether they are in line with company policy. They also provide education on various compliance topics as well as best practices that help representatives better and/or more efficiently comply with firm policy.
Key skills for success in this role include strong knowledge of industry regulations, as well as ability to quickly build rapport when meeting new people, and deliver difficult messages in a calm, constructive, and non-confrontational manner.
This role will be titled Associate II Regulatory once a candidate has been hired.
