Duties
- Operates computerized tomographic (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic scans as directed by ordering providers.
- Also responsible for performing general X-rays.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and answering any questions
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and taking appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
- Graduate of an approved Radiography Training program
- A minimum of 1 year of radiographic and CT experience is required, 2 or more years of experience with CT training is preferred
- IV injection certified or willing to obtain
- NYS Radiography license required
- ARRT (R) required, CT certification preferred
- Must maintain BLS certification
