Our expanding portfolio has created an exciting opportunity for an energized new Partner with an exceptional track record in winning, managing, delivering and expanding projects in the UK. This is a senior level position, empowered to identify, nurture, and expand operational consulting projects, while building your network and expanding your influence within industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for using your network to target and win new and recurring revenue streams in excess of £5million per year. We expect you to have in-depth knowledge of and experience in the UK consulting market and interested specifically in potential Partners with extensive knowledge and networks in Supply Chain, Defence, Energy, Industrials or other heavy engineering industries. You will need a credible and current network to support initial sales meetings and the build-up of your pipeline. As this is a relationship-focused position in a high-touch, high-impact world, the role requires extensive domestic travel and networking to engage potential clients.

As a Partner you will lead business development activities for your portfolio, targeting senior executives at brand-name companies in the UK, while driving the execution of business development and marketing initiatives and the refinement of our sales strategy. With an eye on balancing short-term revenue generation efforts with long-term relationship building, you will work with our team to develop effective sales and marketing tactics to strategically grow our business.

To be successful in the role, you will be accountable for all aspects of converting opportunities into recurring revenue streams including development of project proposals, RFP responses and client pitches. You must be an involved relationship manager, a compelling thought leader, and a proud team player, providing valuable insights and sound guidance to help prospects achieve significant operational and financial improvements as they transform their businesses.

Responsibilities:

  1. You will be responsible for delivering recurring revenue throughout the end-to-end client relationship cycle:
    1. Network initial client introductions
    2. Develop Relationship to enable an opportunity entry into Sales Funnel
    3. Develop Opportunity to enable conversion into Live Pursuit (LP)
    4. Lead WIN Team and Sale to convert the LP into a Client contract
    5. Lead Client Delivery & secure recurring renewals within the existing scope and relationship
    6. Develop Account Strategy and secure revenue outside initial existing scope and relationships
  1. You will be responsible for managing the business development process associated with your opportunities:
    1. Scheduling and leading Win Strategy Review meetings
    2. Leading win teams
    3. Developing materials – to include writing actual documents with the assistance of the win team and proposal writers
    4. Getting proposals approved by the Managing Partner (MP) and CEO through business development channels
    5. Getting pricing approved by the MP and CEO through Finance
  1. You are responsible and accountable for the health of your calendar
  1. You will attend internal sales and marketing calls
  1. You will be deeply connected with project delivery and will maintain contact with your clients before, during, and after engagements – supporting our project teams to ensure success
  1. We approach sales collaboratively – you will get help and we expect you to help
  1. You will be a thought leader for your sectors and/or business functional areas/topics
  1. You will work directly with marketing to:
    1. Develop content – including writing some of it yourself
    2. Schedule your own meetings, from your network and as a result of your marketing campaigns
  1. Salesforce is our source of truth for sales operations.  As such, you are expected to:
    1. Log meetings and notes
    2. Provide opportunity Notes by noon, Monday each week to inform the MP and management on opportunities in: Developing LP, BIF, and Pipeline
    3. Keep the opportunities updated and clean
    4. Identify opportunities that have proposals in work
    5. Clean and add contacts as applicable

Experience Required

Our ideal Partner will have the following:

  • A proven track record of selling consulting or transformation services to senior level and C-Suite executives
  • Demonstrated familiarity with all major functions of the organizational value chain [maintenance / operations / supply chain / human resources / organizational design] concepts, trends, and emerging technologies
  • The ability to build and nurture relationships at a CEO level, working autonomously to demonstrate experience and expertise to business leaders at premier international corporations
  • Experience selling complex, large ticket B2B offerings
  • Exceptional social skills and leadership abilities, able to collaborate with diverse groups, and persuade, influence, and encourage their peers
  • A keen understanding of businesses from end to end, and the ability to match value propositions to your client needs
  • Strong insight into the organisational value chain and their financial structures, including P&L and balance sheets
  • The ability to enable prospects and drive understanding through a combination of hard analytical skills and interpersonal excellence
  • Commercial creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit to close sales prospects effectively while preserving profitability
  • Familiarity with CRM applications, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products and presentation tools
