What are the responsibilities and job description for the Implementation Project Manager position at Prove?
As an Implementation Project Manager, you are a technically minded, “hands on” implementation project manager and excel at working with people. You will own the critical early phase of the customer lifecycle, onboarding Prove’s new clients. To succeed you will work closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Technical Delivery Managers to deliver great results. You will be responsible for driving the customer handoff from Sales to ensure an on-time revenue live project.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex projects, facilitating client conversations, leveraging Technical Delivery Managers as needed , and collaborating cross-functionally to meet or exceed target go-live dates with successful fraud and identity solutions. You are encouraged to think big, dig in, and take ownership of customer challenges. Additionally, you will help improve the implementation process efficiencies and work alongside our Technical Delivery Managers to enhance our products as we rapidly grow.
What you are responsible for
- Project management of the onboarding and implementation for individual clients, having a deep understanding of your customer workflows, maintaining successful partnerships, and accelerating their “revenue-live” status
- Orchestrate post-sale alignment of appropriate resources to support implementation activities from customer kick-off to production and revenue live
- Manage both business and technical owner escalations during client implementation phase, ensuring appropriate and proactive client communications while setting realistic expectations
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, adapt to customer demands, and able to “think on your feet”
- Identify customers’ requirements while identifying potential gaps and critical success factors
- Advocate customer business use-cases to product development alongside the Technical Delivery Managers
- Partner closely with Customer Success team to ensure the successful transition of customer post revenue go live
- Design and continually improve processes for implementation, including materials that enhance efficiency and customer experience during onboarding
- Promote, maintain and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.
- Strong passion for learning about our products, fraud trends, identity solutions, and the market through in-house and independant training.
What we require
- 5 years Project Managing complex enterprise IT application and integration projects (with ACV > $250K annually) across multiple stakeholders at a SaaS company or similar
- Experience managing project or solutions or services delivery for enterprise clients with multiple stakeholder groups
- Domain expertise in the following: SaaS, Mobile, Rest APIs, Fraud/Identity and/or Authentication; PMP Certification is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong documentation skill sets; highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities on tight deadlines
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- You’re known for being a good collaborator and can motivate or maintain enthusiasm throughout the implementation engagement
- High level of intellectual curiosity and basic technical troubleshooting customer issues
- Project management experience, collaborating with large and complex implementations within highly matrixed organizations
- Experience in cybersecurity, fintech, or fast-growing startup is preferred
What We Offer
This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. The salary range for this position for in Colorado is $130,000-170,000/yr.
Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
