Providence Hall is a charter school located in Herriman UT. Central to the school's mission is teaching students to think critically, communicate effectively, and act responsibly. Students in K-5 participate in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) School, where the focus is to have to have engaging, relevant, challenging and significant learning that focuses around six global themes. Students in grades 6-8 explore classes that prepare them for college and career readiness through the AP scholars program, concurrent enrollment, and CTE. Students in grades 9-12 engage in classes that prepare them for college and career readiness through the AP scholars program, concurrent enrollment, and CTE.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Grant Writer to join our team at Providence Hall Charter School. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in securing funding and resources to support our school's mission and enhance the overall educational experience for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with the goals and initiatives of Providence Hall Charter School.
- Develop and maintain relationships with funding agencies, foundations, and other potential donors.
- Write compelling grant proposals and applications, ensuring alignment with the organization's needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with school administrators, faculty, and other stakeholders to gather information and data for grant proposals.
- Manage the grant application process, including submission, tracking, and reporting on grant outcomes.
- Stay informed about current educational trends, funding opportunities, and grant-writing best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to diversify funding sources.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant writing, with a successful track record of securing grants for educational institutions or non-profit organizations.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organization's mission and needs persuasively.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the education sector and an understanding of charter school dynamics is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace and its collaboration tools.
- Capacity to perform all the responsibilities listed in this posting.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, and professional references as a condition of employment.
