Analyze Home and Community Care (“HCC”) data coordinating cross-function on system architecture discussions and planning. Identify HCC data principles to guide in the design and implementation of data assets. Establish an HCC Clinical Architecture Review process and serve as a liaison with Review Boards across the enterprise. Manage documentation for HCC analytics data architecture and support established documentation procedures including description of projects, business definitions, specifications, requirements, target state, data attributes, valid reference values, description of taxonomies, data quality rules, data flow, and conceptual data models. Collaborate with stakeholders internal and external to HCC Measurement and Analytics on system architecture, tracking progress towards key milestones. Enable the HCC Clinical Architecture Review process to support HCC Measurement and Analytics projects from multiple perspectives. Assist HCC core leaders in soliciting key data needs from their clients and stakeholders. Develop processes for optimized data strategy decision-making and documentation. Oversee the implementation of a data-driven mechanism to manage the intake and distribution of HCC Analytics projects. Maintain a store of knowledge about contemporary techniques for data storage and manipulation (i.e., “big data” tools) that can be drawn on to inform the design of data platforms. Allowed to telecommute (reporting to our Renton, WA office) from a location within normal commuting distance to a Providence facility (AK, WA, OR, CA, MT, NM and TX).
Required qualification:
- Master of Science degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related clinical or analytic discipline.
- Three years of experience as a Data Analyst in a biomedical or clinical setting.
- Three years of experience with each of areas below:
- Business intelligence analytical software.
- Design of data stores
- Data definitions
- Data relationships
- SQL coding
- Data structure
- Relational database
- Using complex data models with multifaceted record relationships, key structures, and record identification schemas
- Project leadership
- Database query and analysis languages
- Data pipeline automation
- Data visualization tools in Tableau
- ETL and ELT methodologies and workflows
All experience may have been gained concurrently.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
