The Providence Clinical Network credentialing team pays attention to detail in its credentialing files, and also in its caregivers, who are unique, quirky, and highly dedicated. Employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in revenue cycle systems and structures support our ministries and operations in the regions of Alaska, Washington, Montana & Oregon. In line with our core strategy of Ministry's Committed to Excellence and enhancing the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) we are committed to delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized revenue cycle expertise.
Providence is calling a Senior Credentialing Coordinator who will:
- Be accountable for data collection, organization and submission of enrollment applications and/or demographic information required by health plans, federal government programs, state mandates, and other regulatory agencies
- Support the credentialing of over 5,500 employed providers throughout Alaska, Washington, Montana & Oregon
- Work credentialing files ranging from telehealth physicians, virtual office visits, and provider types ranging from physicians to physical therapists, and nurse practitioners to speech language pathologists
- Help to complete the credentialing process on behalf of employed providers as well as Providence's contracted payors, ensuring continuity of patient care and expedient revenue flow
We welcome 100% remote work for residents of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana and Lubbock, TX.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 2 years experience in credentialing, physician business office, billing, or related healthcare experience
