Providence Place of Hazleton / Drums (Assisted Living) is seeking to recruit a dynamic Full Time Healthcare Recruiter (Employment Specialist). The Healthcare Recruiter reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for hiring and staffing of the community as well as coordinating the orientation of new employees. The role involves interviewing, hiring (with Dept Manager), reference checking, processing and orienting of new employees. In addition, the Employment Specialist reaches out to develop connections between Providence Place and schools, colleges and other local community groups. This position is a salary/exempt position.
- Recruiting experience is required!
Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, occasional evenings or weekends
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Networking in local community to identify sources for promising candidates.
- Getting leads and inquiries from internet ads and social media sources.
- Contacting leads and following up with phone screens.
- Interviewing, reference checking and moving forward (with Dept Manager) to Conditional Offers.
Travel: Occasional local travel, mileage reimbursed
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Recruitment experience a must, healthcare preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
- Prior interviewing/hiring experience preferred.
