Providence Staffing’s construction client is seeking a Construction Laborers in Selma, AL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manual labor that consists of clean-up, debris removal, shoveling, raking, installing silt fence, materials handling, loading and offloading of materials.
· Installation of underground utilities such as water, sewer, and electrical conduit.
· Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
· Perform other duties as needed in a safe, diligent, and efficient manner.
Qualifications and Educations Requirements:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· Must be willing to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds.
· Familiar with power tools and machinery.
· Previous experience and knowledge of underground utility installation a plus.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Must follow safety rules, regulations, and directives.
· Must be willing to work long hours.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $15 per hour to $18 per hour plus a great benefit package.
