Access Control Screener at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

The Security Support Specialist is responsible to monitor parking, building access, visitor screening, badging, video surveillance, intercom systems and enforcing visitor policy for Spokane Service Area hospitals and clinics. The specialist provides visitor management and surveillance monitoring of entrances through the use of in-person check point screening, video surveillance and intercom systems. The specialist performs general administrative support tasks and data entry in support of Security Services and Emergency Management. Knowledge of policies including visitor restrictions and end of life visitations is essential. Good communications skills are essential for success.

Shift: Night Shift, Full-Time Position,1240-12 Hour Daily Overtime 40 Hour Week

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year Customer service, administrative, communications, or security related work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree

  • 3 years prior experience in healthcare or public relations setting
