Dietitian - CLINICAL NUTRITION, Providence St. Patrick Hospital, Missoula, MT
The Clinical Dietitian assists in directing and supervising personnel in the Food and Nutrition department to provide quality health care in serving all types of nutritionally balanced and appetizing meals to patients through collaboration with food service staff. The clinical dietitian must be competent in providing medical nutrition therapy, nutrition support (Parenteral and Enteral), and nutrition education to a variety of patients in all patient care settings (ICU/floor units). The dietitian will perform nutritional assessments; implement nutritional care plans, document assessments and all re-assessments/follow-ups in computer medical record per Joint Commission requirements. The dietitian will be required to attend multi-disciplinary rounds &/or care-conferences on the current floor he/she is covering. The dietitian will be required to provide education to physicians, nurses and other clinical staff on evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition. In this position, a dietitian will work independently on a single unit (ICU vs. floor) and see 10-14 patients in an 8 hour shift.

Shift: Part-time, Day shift, 32 hours
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Human Nutrition and Dietetics
- Coursework/Training Post-graduate internship accredited by AND
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Montana Nutritionist License
- Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an acute care facility.
