The Hospital Supervisor is accountable for the provision of quality nursing services and coordination of the inter-professional team in a hospital for a defined shift.
With a consistent focus on patient and family centered care and high reliability principles, the Supervisor promotes evidence-based practice within a context of constant change in patient volume and acuity, and available resources. The Hospital Supervisor serves as the primary leader in ensuring effective and efficient patient flow in the Hospital.
S/he builds collaborative relationships with others Health System, and uses timely and effective verbal and written communication approaches. S/he constructively leads through organizational change. The Supervisor demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates contemporary professional nursing standards and skills.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current Oregon RN license
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- Current credentialing in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of hire
- Five (5) years in Nursing, with experience in progressive leadership roles
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing -OR- related field
