Job Summary:
As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. You will lead a team of security professionals to develop, implement, and monitor security measures for the organization, safeguarding against threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices while proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent certification required.
- Proven experience (8 years) in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of security principles, standards, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001/2), and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Extensive knowledge of security technologies, such as SIEM, DLP, IAM, PKI, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Experience with cloud security, network security, endpoint security, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of leading security initiatives, driving change, and building high-performing teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
